2021 Arts Festival & 2022 Calendar Project

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Mental Health Arts Festival was cancelled. With the cancellation of the arts festival, we reimagined things a bit and instead, had a virtual celebration which focused on honoring the artists and art through the years. Close to 20 artists participated in the virtual showcase and hundreds of community members participated in the virtual festivities.

This year, the Mental Wellness Center has decided to cancel our annual Mental Health Arts Festival and hopes to celebrate in person with you all in 2022, just in time to celebrate the Mental Wellness Center’s 75th anniversary!

For 2021, we have decided to create a special 12-month wall calendar that spotlights artists and their artwork and celebrates the history of the Mental Health Arts Festival in our community. We hope to have the calendar completed by September 2021 and available for reservation/purchase on our website by October 2021. The calendar will be a 2022 wall calendar. All participating artists will receive a calendar as a ‘thank you’ for participating in this year’s project.

For returning artists:

Please click the button below and complete the submission link. If you have any questions, please email Amanda Conroy, Development & Marketing Director, at: aconroy@mentalwellnesscenter.org

The deadline for submitting ALL of your items to MWC is Friday, August 27, 2021. If you are having trouble meeting this deadline and/or need any support in getting your items to MWC, please email Amanda at the email address above. Late submissions run the risk of not making it into this year’s calendar so please submit everything on time and by the deadline of August 20th.

For new artists:

If you are new to participating in the Mental Health Arts Festival and would like to learn more about this year’s calendar project, please email Amanda Conroy, Development & Marketing Director, at: aconroy@mentalwellnesscenter.org.

We will miss you this year and hope to celebrate with you in person next summer! In the meantime, we are so excited for the Mental Health Arts Festival 2022 Wall Calendar and hope you will consider participating in this year’s project!
