Amanda Conroy, MPA
Development & Marketing Director
Amanda Conroy moved to Santa Barbara, CA from Ontario, CA in 2005. She studied Art History and Women's Studies at UC Santa Barbara, where she graduated with a dual B.A. degree in 2009. Towards the end of her time at UCSB, Amanda became involved with the local Santa Barbara community through volunteering and interning with several nonprofits in the area. Amanda has now worked professionally in the nonprofit sector for over a decade and possesses a strong passion and dedication for public service with an emphasis on relationship-based fundraising. Amanda’s strengths are in the areas of Development, Fundraising and Marketing & Communications. In May 2018, she earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus in Public Sector Management and Leadership from California State University Northridge. Amanda has worked for the Mental Wellness Center since 2019, serving as the organization’s Development & Marketing Director. Amanda’s knowledge in fundraising and passion for our mission allows her to help those in need – strengthening our community and building a better future for all.
