Alma Rosa Winery Peace of Mind
10,000 Steps in the Right Direction

Ways you can support the Mental Wellness Center

Join us on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Alma Rosa Vineyards and register to participate in this year’s walk. Upon registering for this year’s event, you will automatically be enrolled as a fundraiser.

This year’s live walk will be at Alma Rosa Winery’s 628-acre estate in north Santa Barbara County on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Registration and parking open at 8AM and the walk begins at 9AM and runs through 12PM.

The walk will take you from the valley floor, through Alma Rosa’s Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards to their furthest and highest Syrah and Grenache plantings. The walk totals 4.3 miles (just under 10,000 steps) and has three rigorous quarter mile inclines, so we recommend being in good physical condition when participating in the live walk.

Can’t attend? You can still support this event and the Mental Wellness Center. Register as a fundraiser, set a goal and start fundraising today.

If you would like to contribute to a fundraiser, click here to make a donation on behalf of someone’s individual/team fundraiser.

You may also make a direct donation to support the event.

And, thanks to the generosity of Alma Rosa Winery owners Bob and Barb Zorich,
the first $35,000 raised will be matched!

Please note, this is a private event and registration is required to attend and participate. If you have any questions, please email

A message to registrants from Alma Rosa Winery General Manager, Debra Eagle:

Thank you so much for registering for the Peace of Mind: 10,000 Steps in the Right Direction Walk at Alma Rosa Winery. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday morning, July 23.  Here are a few details for you:

The address for the Alma Rosa Ranch is:

7250 Santa Rosa Road
Buellton, CA 93427

We are located only a few miles off of Highway 101 in Buellton. Take the Santa Rosa Road exit and head west. **Please note that we are located one driveway past Peake Ranch (several navigation apps will show our address to be our neighbor's).  Please drive past Peake Ranch and turn into our driveway. We will have signage on the road.

Check in and parking begins at 8:00 am.

The walk will start promptly at 9:00 a.m.

It is likely to be a lovely, cool morning, but please dress in layers as you will certainly warm up as you walk up the hillside. You will be walking along an unpaved agricultural road with loose stones. Please wear comfortable walking shoes with a good tread.

We will have water and Quantum Energy Square energy bars at various locations along the walk.

When you get to the top, we invite you to enjoy a splash of our sparkling wine, and when you get back down to the bottom, we will greet you with a glass of wine (rose, Pinot Noir or Chardonnay). And, if wine’s not your thing, we’ve got you covered and will have waters and non-alcoholic refreshments to quench your thirst after your walk.

Representatives from both Mental Wellness Center and One Mind (the two beneficiaries) will be available to answer questions at the end of the walk should you want to learn more about their organizations. Your registration fee of $55 is being split evening between them.

I have taken the walk several times with different people and find that most will walk the course in 1.5 to 2 hours. We expect to wrap up the event by 12 noon.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email or phone me at 707-227-8503.

Thank you again for joining us!  Please remember that Alma Rosa Winery owners Bob & Barb Zorich are matching the first $70,000 raised in donations.  If you would like to make a donation above your registration fee, please go to the website at:
